This is a comprehensive overview defining and explaining the group, facilitator, safety & techniques. We'll use role play exercises. This is for people interested in becoming a facilitator who have not taken a workshop with Chuck, and for professionals to get a sense of the structure and application of developing a support group for their particular clientele. Registration and prepayment required. Tuition is free for MDDA-Boston members. You can pick up a form at a Wednesday night meeting. MDDA-Boston Mini Trainings* and Facilitator Forms**
*Mini Trainings are a brief, formal training, led by Chuck or a senior Facilitator, or other expert on the topic They are held, in months that they are offered, on the 5th Wednesday.
**Forums are led by senior Facilitators and are a focused, collegial sharing among Facilitators of their questions and experiences regarding a particular topic of interest. They are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month that does not have a Mini-Training.
All are held at 5:45-6:45 PM in Rm. 132, de Marneffe Building, McLean Hospital, Belmont, and are available to MDDA-Members and Guests without charge or prior reservation. Free and open to the public. We are always looking for ideas so let Chuck, Lucinda, Nick, Carter, or Karl know what you'd like to have one on.
